Yermolai Solzhenitsyn — Senior Partner, McKinsey & Company
Supports companies in the metals and mining, oil and gas, aircraft, and travel sectors, helping clients to improve strategy, operations and sales, as well as leading organization and governance transformations.
Since joining McKinsey in 1998, Yermolai has developed wide experience in strategy development, operations and sales improvements, and organizational and governance system transformation for companies in the metallurgy, oil and gas, aircraft, and transportation sectors. He takes an active part in projects related to municipal and regional infrastructure development , as well as healthcare system improvement efforts aimed at improving the quality of services provided by healthcare institutions.
Yermolai is a leader of McKinsey EMEA Metals & Mining Practice and a co-leader of McKinsey’s EMEA Oil & Gas Practice. He is a member of our global Travel, Infrastructure, and Logistics Practice and takes an active part in international projects to develop new approaches to operations improvements for companies in the raw materials sector.Yermolai is a also a co-leader of McKinsey’s Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals and Medical Products practices in Europe.
Before joining McKinsey, Yermolai spent several years working in China and Taiwan and, later, as a consultant at the World Bank in Washington DC.
