Simone Ghislandi — Associate Professor at the Department of Policy Analysis, Bocconi University
Simone Ghislandi is Associate Professor of Health and Public Economics in the Department of Social and Political Sciences of Bocconi University. He is director of the “welfare and taxation” unit of DONDENA, a member of CERGAS and director of the Master in Economics and Management of Government and International Organizations (GIO) in Bocconi. He is also a member of the POPJUS Programme in IIASA (Vienna). He focuses his research activity on issues related to demography, epidemiology and health policy, writing on a variety of topics including wellbeing, health behaviours, universal health coverage and healthcare management. He has published on established scientific international journals such as The Lancet, Scientific Reports (Nature), Review of Economics and Statistics, Population and Development Review, Journal of Health Economics. He holds an MPhil and a DPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford.
