Sergey Zuev — Rector, Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences
Sergey Zuev was born on 25.04.1954 in Moscow, in 1978 he graduated from Moscow State University named by M.V. Lomonosov, specializing in philology, in 1984 he defended his thesis, he was awarded the degree of PhD in art history. The experience of scientific and pedagogical, including administrative work, is more than 40 years.
Currently he is the rector of the Moscow Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences (Shaninka) and the director of the Institute of Social Sciences, RANEPA.
In addition to management of MSSES and ISS RANEPA he is a member of the Joint Expert Council of the Presidential Grants Fund, a member of the Governing Council of the Moscow State Budgetary Educational Institution School 1514, a member of the editorial board of the “STEPS” journal.
In 2016 S.E. Zuev was awarded a Medal of the Order for Merit to the Fatherland, II degree.
In 2020 S.E. Zuev was awarded the State Award of the Russian Federation: "Order of Honor".
