Henrik Frank Nielsen — Senior Vice President, Head of Insulation North East Europe, ROCKWOOL Group
In 1986, Henrik received a master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration at Aarhus Business School, Denmark and in 1990 continued his education graduating Marketing Strategy course at INSEAD. Henrik also studied Marketing Planning program at Cranfield University, UK, in 1992, and Strategic Management and Orchestrating Winning Performance courses at IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland (in 2002, 2003, 2010, 2013 – correspondingly).
From 1990 to 1993, Henrik Frank Nielsen held the position of Marketing and Business Development Manager in BP Oil Benelux B.V. at Amsterdam, Netherlands and n 1993-1994 he acted as Sales Manager of BP Oil Denmark A/S. From 1994 to 1996, he managed Export Asia/Pacific at Kosan Teknova A/S, a company offering the services in plumbing installations and providing valves for sanitary fittings.
In 1996 Henrik Frank Nielsen joined ROCKWOOL Group as Sales and Marketing Director at GRODAN A/S, a global leader in the supply of innovative stone wool substrate solutions for the professional horticulture based on Precision Growing Principles. From 1999 to 2002 he acted as Managing Director at GRODAN A/S.
In 2002 Henrik continued his career at ROCKWOOL Group moving to the position of Managing Director at ROCKFON Group, manufacturer of stone wool acoustic ceiling systems and panels.
From 2007 to 2011 Henrik was a Division Managing Director of Systems Division and from 2011 to 2015 - Division Managing Director of Europe Division, both at ROCKWOOL International A/S, the world leader in production of insulation, soundproofing and fire protection solutions made of stone wool.
In 2015 Henrik Frank Nielsen was appointed Senior Vice President and Head of Insulation for North East Europe and Russia at ROCKWOOL International A/S.
Henrik Frank Nielsen is also Chairman of the Board of Betterhome ApS, a Danish joint company founded by ROCKWOOL A/S, GRUNDFOS HOLDING A/S, VELUX A/S and DANFOSS A/S.
