Emmanuel Tric — First Vice-President, Université Côte d’Azur
Emmanuel Tric is Professor of Geophysics at University Côte d'Azur and currently 1st Vice-President. After starting his career at the University of Paris 11 in 1990, he joined the University Nice Sophia Antipolis (now University Côte d'Azur) in 1999. He develops his research activity at the Geoazur laboratory which revolves around two themes: the study of subduction and landslides through a dual approach of numerical modelling and geophysical imagery. After having headed the Earth-Environment-Space Training Department (2005 - 2009), the College of Doctoral Studies at the University of Nice - Sophia Antipolis (2007 - 2010), the Geoazur laboratory (2010-2016), he became President of the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (2017-2019).
