Alexey Malinovskiy — Head of Mastercard in Russia
Alexey Malinovskiy is responsible for the development of Mastercard’s business in Russia, one of the largest European markets with a fast-growing cashless economy and payments industry.
Mastercard brings cutting-edge global technologies and innovations, increasing share of electronic payments and spreading financial literacy in Russia. With Mastercard, Russian people get access to convenient, simple and secure solutions. For instance, the company was the first to introduce contactless payments with a smartphone and other devices to the market, launched multiservice cards, which created a basis for the infrastructure development of smart cities and regions.
Alexey has been a part of Mastercard management team since 2010. He has been working in more than 20 Central and Eastern European markets, Turkey, Israel and CIS. He has served as President of Mastercard Members’ Association and represented Mastercard on the Board of the Russian National Payment Council since 2012.
Before joining Mastercard, he worked for more than 15 years in a number of Russian and international companies in the high-tech sector. Graduated with a degree in Applied Mathematics from Moscow Aviation Institute.
