Boris Shcherbakov — Vice President and General Manager, Dell Technologies, Russia
Boris Shcherbakov was appointed to lead Dell EMC office in Russia in February 2017. He is in charge of developing all Dell EMC business lines including infrastructure solutions, services and clients systems in Russia and eCIS countries.
Boris joined Dell in autumn 2012. He was holding the position of General Manager of Dell Russia and eCIS being responsible for driving the company’s commercial and consumer business strategies.
Boris is an experienced strategist and top-manager, having deep understanding of global and Russian IT market. Prior to Dell, he spent 13 years at Oracle in the position of the Head of Representation office, General Manager, Vice-President of sales in Russia and CIS countries, later as GM of Oracle Hardware, Vice President of Hardware Sales in Russia and CIS. He also held senior positions at Russian and American companies, worked abroad for Ministry of Foreign Trade of the USSR and Ministry of Defense of the USSR.
Boris holds a Diploma of Excellence in International Economy from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), and speaks fluent English and Arabic. He regularly delivers lectures on career and management in multinational companies for MBA students in such renowned universities as MISiS, MIPT, RANEPA, Financial Academy. Boris is the author of several books, many publications and interviews, was a columnist in few business magazines, including HBR. He is an active member of European Advisory Council of AACSB (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and AACSB Global Business Practices Council.
