Radiy Khabirov — Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan
He was born on March 20, 1964 in the village of Sayranovo, Ishimbay district, Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
In 1989, he graduated from the Law Faculty of Bashkir State University, in 1994, he received a master’s degree at the University of Bilkent (Turkey).
He began his career in 1981 as a milling machine apprentice operator at the Ishimbay Transport Engineering Plant.
In 1982–1984, he served in the USSR Armed Forces.
From 1989–1992, he was Assistant Professor at the Department of State Law and Soviet Construction, Faculty of Law, Bashkir State University.
From 1994–2003, he held the posts of Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, Deputy Dean of the Law Faculty, Director of the Law Institute, Bashkir State University.
From 2003–2008, he was as the Head of the Presidential Executive Office of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
In 2008, he headed the Department for Relations with the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and Political Parties of the Presidential Domestic Policy Directorate.
From 2009–2016, he served as the Deputy Head of the Presidential Domestic Policy Directorate.
From 2017–2018, he became the Head of the Krasnogorsk city district of the Moscow region.
Candidate of Law, Honored Lawyer of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Full State Counselor 2nd class of the Russian Federation.
Candidate Master of Sports in Greco-Roman wrestling.
He was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the President of the Russian Federation, was awarded the Order of the Republic of Crimea "For Fidelity to Duty".
