Miguel A. Castro (1965) is Pharmacist (1988) and PhD in Chemistry by the University of Seville (1992).
Research Scholar at Oxford University. Visiting Fellow at the Department of Chemistry of ten University of Cambridge and Fellow at Churchill College (University of Cambridge).

Working Experience
Miguel A. Castro has more than 27 years’ experience as a professor and researcher in the area of Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Seville.
He was recognized twice with the Award of Teaching Excellence (2002/2003 and 2005/2006).
He has published 63 SCT-articles, including 34 published in the first quartile, with 712 citations and he has supervised 5 PhD students and 3 Master Degree students.
Director of the X-Ray laboratory of the the Centre of Research Technology and Innovation of the University of Seville, (CITIUS) (2005-2008).
Director of the Centre of Research Technology and Innovation of the University of Seville, (CITIUS) (2007-2008).
Responsible since 2008 for the research group FQM-212 of the Andalusian Government.
