The World Bank has been preparing a Doing Business Report for ten years. The authors of this survey assess 10 aspects of business regulation in 185 countries. The Doing Business Report, as well as the Global Competitiveness Report of the Global Economic Forum, has become a world-acknowledged reference point for the comparative assessment of the countries' investment climate. In 2012, Russia was ranked 112th in the World Bank Report.
